Up to date anesthesia techniques now make it possible to perform
intricate surgery in the office with no discomfort. Several different
types of anesthetics are used by our surgeon to alleviate pain and
control anxiety while performing a multitude of surgical procedures.
For example, local anesthesia is utilized to assure a painless treatment
for many minor procedures. Nitrous oxide, sometimes called "laughing
gas," can also be used enhance the effectiveness of local anesthetic
techniques.
When relaxation and sedative techniques are required, intravenous (IV)
sedation can be used to provide a "twilight sleep" for patient comfort.
Different kinds of surgical procedures require different types of
anesthetic techniques and delivery. Our surgeon will explain which is
the most appropriate for your surgical needs.
If you have any questions about any of our services feel free to ask Dr.
Wallace or any of his professional staff members, and you will receive a
quick reply.

"I
had always been very nervous about dental work in the past. With the
use of intravenous sedation for my implant surgery, I was completely
relaxed with no anxiety and had no unpleasant after effects!
I would recommend this sedation procedure for anyone with fear of
dental work!"
